A pile (1) is disclosed which is adapted to generate direct electric current through conversion through Hall effect of ionising radiations into electric energy and comprising at least one source (3) of such ionising radiations; means for generating a magnetic field B concatenating a portion of space (5) where ionising radiations emitted by the source (3) pass; and at least one pair of electrodes (Ha, lib) made of conducting material adapted to collect electric charge carriers, each electrode (Ha, lib) being electrically connected to at least one electric terminal (13a, 13b) adapted to transport the electric charges collected by the electrodes (Ha, lib) .
