The distributor has a removable cylindrical reservoir (11) containing a quantity of ground grain, and rotary radial vanes (15) placed in bottom of the reservoir. The vane is driven in rotation by a motor unit (40) that is powered by two terminals (65, 66) and controlled by a motor control circuit (42). The vane transfers the given quantity of the ground grain through a flow opening (20) placed in the reservoir. The control circuit short-circuits the terminals of the motor unit after cutting continuous current supply to the motor unit. An independent claim is also included for an automatic coffee machine comprising a seat with an evacuation outlet situated beside a flow opening of a reservoir of a distributor.
