Method for testing the authenticity of plant protecting agents through isotopes

Identification of a plant protective agent, comprises (a) determining at least a relative ratio between two stable isotopes of the chemical elements using a reference sample of a first plant protective agent; (b) determining the relative ratio between the two stable isotopes of a chemical element in a second plant protective agent, whose identity is supposed to be examined with the first product; (c) comparing the identity values or non-identity values of the products. An independent claim is included for the plant protective agent, preferably a pharmaceutical preparation or a plant protective agent comprising several components, where at least two of these components have an isotope labeling.
