The barrel (1) has a removable spigoted cover (4) with filling and emptying bung (17) provided with an arrangement of spigoted connecting piece, which is closable by a spigoted stopper and shifted outwards by a center (18) of the spigoted cover at a flat or easily curved cover base (5). The base has a high-efficient cover edge for fastening the spigoted cover on a barrel opening edge. The barrel is made of thermoplastic plastic, and a sealing of a bung stopper with a seal cap is made of steel.
