The method involves creating a communication singleton (24) to establish a communication between a human-machine interface application program (20) and automatism equipment (10) via an Internet protocol network (50). User interface controls (22) are subscribed to the singleton so that the controls utilize a same communication singleton. The singleton is executed to allow the controls to communicate with associated objects or equipment. Object of the equipment is defined by a variable (13) and a communication protocol (18) e.g. Internet protocol, to permit the controls to access the variable.
