A : a silicon group of formula (-Si(R) 2-(O-Si(R) 2) a+b-O-(Si(R)(O-(Si((R) 2)-O) d-Si((R) 2)-R)-Si((R) 3)-O) c-Si((R) 3)) (VIa) or (-Si(R)(O-Si((R) 3))-(O-Si(R) 2) b-O-(Si(R)(O-(Si((R) 2)-O) d-Si((R) 3))-O) c-Si((R) 3)) (VIb); a : 0-5; b : 0-500; c : 0-50; d : 0-200; e : 0-18; f : 1-200; g : 0-10000; and h : 0-1000, where: the fragments with the indices f, g and h are permutable with each other freely and are interchangeable within the polyether chain, and the different monomer units with index numbers, f, g and h are formed in blocks or subjected to a statistical distribution. An independent claim is included for the polyethersiloxane compound (VI) produced by the above process, in which the fragment with the index g is in an excess molar ratio against the fragment with the index f, where the polyether siloxane (VI) is free of excess polyethers with f value of 0.
