VESSEL HAVING UNDERWATER WELDING- EXCLUSION TUNNEL

A ship having a tunnel for preventing welding under the water is provided to perform all the welding works on the surface of the water to combine divided ship bodies because the bodies can not be under the surface of the water. A ship having a tunnel(10) for preventing welding under the water comprises the following units. After the ship is divided and constructed, a predetermined height from a ship bottom surface is needed to place the divided the ship bodies on the surface of the water when launching combined bodies(C2) of the divided ship bodies. The ship includes one of a heavy cargo ship, a very large oil tanker, a floating crude oil storage facility and a floating barge. An upper surface(10a) of the tunnel is flat.
