A novel organic electroluminescent polymer, and an organic electroluminescent device containing the polymer are provided to improve solubility and to minimize the molecular interaction, thereby enhancing color purity and luminous efficiency. An organic electroluminescent polymer is represented by the formula 1, 2 or 3, wherein A are identical or different one another and are an aryl group substituted or unsubstituted with at least one C1-C20 linear or branched alkyl or alkoxy group, an aryl group having at least one hetero atom selected from F, S, N, O, P and Si substituted or unsubstituted with at least one C1-C20 linear or branched alkyl or alkoxy group, or an aryl group having a C2-C4 hetero-ring having at least one hetero atom selected from F, S, N, O, P and Si substituted or unsubstituted with at least one C1-C20 linear or branched alkyl or alkoxy group; Ar is an aryl group substituted or unsubstituted with at least one C1-C20 linear or branched alkyl or alkoxy group; R is an aryl group substituted or unsubstituted with at least one C1-C20 linear or branched alkyl or alkoxy group; Ar1 is an arylamine group substituted or unsubstituted with at least one C1-C20 linear or branched alkyl or alkoxy group; Ar2 is a substituted or unsubstituted C6-C60 aromatic compound, a substituted or unsubstituted C2-C60 hetero aromatic compound or their combination; x is an integer of 1-10,000; y is an integer of 0-10,000; z is an integer of 4-100,000; x/y is 1/19 or more; (x+y):z is 5:95 to 20:80; x1 is an integer of 1-10,000; y1 is an integer of 0-10,000; z1 is an integer of 4-100,000; x1/y1 is 1/19 or more; (x1+y1):z1 is 5:95 to 20:80; k and l are an integer of 1-10,000; m is an integer of 0-10,000; n is an integer of 8-100,000; (k+l)/m is 1/19 or more; and (k+l+m):n is 5:95 to 20:80.
