A method for manufacturing a precursor of metal oxides by a malonate method is provided to manufacture easily powders of metal oxide by decomposing thermally the precursor and to produce the metal oxide powders by burning the manufactured precursors in a temperature lower than an preexistence precursor. A method for manufacturing a precursor of metal oxides by a malonate method comprises steps of: mixing a nitrate aqueous solution including metal positive ions and an ammonia solution dissolving a malonic acid are; being cooled at a room temperature after removing water which is a solvent at 70‹C or less from a mixed aqueous solution; and disassembling the precursor at 200~220‹C.
