A method for saving a digital camera file by using a note recognition method with pen input or a touch screen method to input a letter is provided to modify a file name and a storage location fast and easily through the note recognition method with pen input or the touch screen method to input a letter by using an FnE function. A method for storing a photo and a moving picture of a digital camera comprises the following steps. A user determines a file assigning method and a file storage location through MUNU(130) setting. A file name is assigned according to a determined method. The assigned file name is modified through a Note recognition method or a touch screen method by using an FnE(140) function button. The determined file storage location is modified by using the FnE function button. When the file storage location is determined, the file is stored at a location that a user determines.
