A method for providing phone number search ranking and/or economic trend index by using a database of phone number, and a system for the same are provided to obtain actual data of a user from the phone number search history to be used as basic data of various statistical data. A phone number search server(20) comprises a database storing the plural phone numbers corresponding to a trade name, a category of business or a region, accepts search request information to extract a specified phone number from a database, and creates the search data including the phone number and the search request information. A search terminal device(10) comprises a phone number search engine, transmits the search request information to the phone number search server, and receives search information corresponding to the search request information. A data management server(30) creates a search ranking list and provides the search information and the search ranking list to a user terminal device. A user terminal device(40) connects to the data management server and receives the search ranking list.
