A load measuring device with improved accuracy and a movement apparatus having a load measuring function are provided to easily measure a large load by measuring load applied to a disk without using wire. A load measuring device comprises a load applying part(356) applying load to a load cell(350), and a load arithmetic part. The load arithmetic part operates the load by using a voltage generated from two ends of a strain gauge according to the load. The load applying part directly applies the load while being in point-contact with the load cell. The load applying part is in point-contact with the load cell through a rigid element.
