A method for compensating ambient temperature of an FATC(Full Automatic Temperature Control) system for a vehicle is provided to reduce leakage power by using an EPROM(Electrical Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) for storing ambient sensor data, and to remove factors that may deteriorate emotional quality of the system with accurate realization of the system. A method for compensating ambient temperature of an FATC(Full Automatic Temperature Control) system for a vehicle, which is capable of measuring driving speed of the vehicle with a speed sensor and compensating ambient temperature increasing and decreasing according to the vehicle speed data of the speed sensor, the method comprises the steps of: storing raw ambient data of an ambient sensor in a memory of the FATC until the vehicle is stopped(S23); and adopting the raw ambient data stored in the memory if the vehicle is get started and a predetermined period of time has not been passed after the vehicle is stopped(S25,27,31), wherein the memory is an EPROM(Electrical Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory), which is capable of storing the raw ambient data of the ambient sensor without power supply.
