A system and a method for predicting business showings of a store are provided to predict an actual result of a proposed site for a store by substituting population acting lines around a proposed site for a predetermined regression model. A system and a method for predicting business showings of a store comprise the following units. An information storage unit(135) stores population acting lines information and profit information of a store according to a region. A population number outputting unit(145) produces information about a number of population as a whole by adding the half of average of passengers using public transportation per a day to a number of population. A regression model construction unit(155) builds a regression model for predicting an actual result of a proposed site for a store.
