A mobile communications terminal and a method thereof for providing an airline ticket reservation service for implementing a ubiquitous aviation service are provided to transmit airline member information to a reader apparatus through an application issued through an IC chip. An IC chip(210) implements IC chips issued from various issuance company including airline. The IC chip maintains an airline ticket reservation application. The airline ticket reservation application is downloaded from an issuing server including an airline server. A controller(230) records the airline ticket reservation application to the IC chip. The airline advance purchase application is recorded in the IC chip. An interface control(220) provides UI in which the advance purchase is possible the airline ticket through the airline ticket reservation application for the user through the output unit(290).
