WEB BASED MMS PROVIDING SYSTEM CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING MULTI-LANGUAGE AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

A web based MMS(Multimedia Message Service) service system and an operation method thereof are provided to send text messages to other parties more simply, in multiple languages which are hard to be supported in a mobile communication terminal. If a terminal connected through an Internet network in connection with a DB server(102) for managing various DBs(104) exists, a web server(100) provides a user login web page and a web page necessary to offer an MMS service for supporting multiple languages to the terminal. If a translation request for a selected foreign language is transmitted from the web server together with a text message written in Korean, a translation engine server translates the text message in the requested foreign language, and provides the translated message to the web server. A data conversion server(108) inputs text message data, and converts the data into an image to output the image. An MMS server(110) inputs the image, and receives a telephone number of a receiving terminal(112) to send the inputted image to the telephone number in MMS type.
