APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TUNNEL FIRE DETECTION BASED ON IMAGE PROCESSING

One flame detection method and its device are arranged to identify the technology of the flame of various patterns using an image process by using the flame pattern in the inside of image of the video information inputted from a video camera for identification. One flame detection apparatus includes part (100), a flame pattern detection part (200) and a flame pattern test portion (300) for reference image selection. The part selection of reference image selection and store image are about normal state within a tunnel. Flame pattern detection part detects flame, by using variance detection between memory input image and reference image. Flame pattern test portion reduces the error detection of flame pattern about the movement of a car light.
