A rotor assembly and a turbo compressor having the rotor assembly are provided to minimize the rotating inertia of the rotor assembly to improve the response performance of the turbo compressor such that the turbo compressor sensitively react to a driving operation to rapidly provide compressed air so as to rapidly accelerate a vehicle. A turbo compressor(100) includes a housing(110), a rotor compressor(150), a coil part(113), an impeller(125), and a compressor scroll(120). The rotor assembly is rotatably supported in the housing. The coil part is set in the housing and surrounds the rotor assembly. The impeller is fixed to one end of the rotor assembly and rotated with the rotor assembly to compress an inhaled fluid. The compressor scroll accommodates the fluid compressed by the impeller.
