LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY ELEMENT OF TRANSVERSE ELECTRIC FIELD CONTROL TYPE

摘要

A liquid crystal display device of a transverse electric field control type is provided to obtain a wide field and prevent non-uniformity of the display. A pair of substrates(1,2) are arranged oppositely through a liquid crystal layer(3) and the aligning treatment is performed in each inner surface of the substrates. A first electrode has a slit which a plurality of openings are serially penetrated through in one substrate of the pair of substrates. A second electrode is formed to prevent the slit through an insulating layer.
