An electrode for a generator of rotating arc and a method for generating the rotating arc are provided to supply current stably on a welding torch by preventing a relative slide about a rotating electrode. An electrode for a generator of rotating arc includes the followings: a rotating electrode(40); a rotating electrode tip(50) connected with the rotating electrode in downside; and an electrode terminal(80) connected the rotating electrode tip electrically. The electrode terminal is connected with one side of the rotating electrode tip through a conductive surface contact.
