The nanoparticle or nanostructure is selected from the group consisting of isocyanide compounds, thiol or cyanide, isothiocyanate, and Rhodamine 6G, Cy3, Cy5 or TAMRA. The monitoring method takes place within 72 hours after the nanoparticle or nanostructure is absorbed in the cell.
