An apparatus and a method for measuring vehicle traveling information are provided to omit an external cabling operation for operating a device by wireless communicating. A first sensing part(310-1) detects a vehicle. A second sensing part(310-2) is separated from the first sensing part, and detects a traveling of the vehicle. An amplifier part(320-1~320-n) amplifies a sensed signal. A low pass filter(330-1~330-n) removes a noise in an amplified signal. An A/D converter(340) converts an analog vehicle detecting signal into a digital signal. A central processing part(350) calculates a speed and an acceleration of the vehicle based on a distance difference of the first sensing part and the second sensing part, and a time difference obtained in an SAD(Sum of Absolute Difference) hardware accelerator(360).
