POSITIONING SYSTEM IN FEMTOCELL COVERAGE AND METHOD THEREOF, AND FEMTOCELL BTS APPLIED TO THE SAME

A positioning system in Femtocell coverage, a method thereof, and Femtocell BTS applied to the same are provided to detect the advance and retreat of Femtocell coverage of a mobile terminal by receiving a position confirming signal periodically transmitted from a mobile terminal which enters the Femtocell coverage region. A Femtocell BTS(Base Transceiver Station)(100) transmits a wireless signal for providing a mobile communication service which uses a home as a Femtocell coverage. The Femtocell BTS receives a location checking signal wirelessly transmitted from a mobile terminal(200), and detects the entry of the mobile terminal to the Femtocell coverage. According to a setting period, the mobile terminal transmits the location checking signal, and requests the registration of location to the Femtocell BTS.
