A method for providing video call service subscription information of a called terminal to the process of requesting the voice communications in mobile communications network to the calling terminal, and a system and a mobile communications terminal therefor are provided to confirm whether to perform video call of the terminal. A mobile switching center requests the call connection to the called terminal as an incoming mobile switching center(S231). The incoming mobile switching center requests voice call setup as the called terminal(S233). The incoming mobile switching center receives response and alerting message about the voice telephony call establishment from the called terminal(S235, S237). The incoming mobile switching center transmits the address complete message to the calling mobile switching center(S239). The calling mobile switching center inserts the video call service subscription information of the called terminal into the alerting message. The alerting message is transmitted to the calling terminal.
