A mood lighting switch and a control method thereof are provided to efficiently control a switch by obtaining a lot of information through a light sensor, a touch sensor, and a motion sensor. A mood lighting switch includes a motion sensor(110), a touch sensor(130), a light sensor(120), a lighting part(160), and a control part(140). The motion sensor senses an access of an object. The touch sensor senses a contact of the object. The light sensor senses an ambient light. The lighting part emits lights more than two colors. The control part controls the lighting part by using object information and light information sensed through the motion sensor, the touch sensor, and the light sensor. The control part generates a signal for controlling an electronic device.
