An environmentally-friendly construction method of a weir is provided to construct a natural weir on a slope so as to keep a large amount of water and purify polluted water continuously. An environmentally-friendly construction method of a weir is as follows. A base structure(20) of concrete is built at a river running on a slope. Stones(11) easy to get in the river are drilled and a binding member such as wire or rope is inserted in the drilled holes. An anchor bolt(21) is fixed to the base structure at the state the stones are bound together in unspecified direction and is coupled with the binding member. Stones smaller than the stones fixed to the base structure are piled up consecutively so that a natural weir(10) which does not collapse by water stream and keeps the water is completed.
