The client requests metadata of one metadata management server (S501). The information for the disk that wherein file data corresponding with metadata is stored is examined. Wherein there is examined (S502) in file data for the address of data server. The address of data server examined is sent to client. Metadata management server determines the validity of metadata request. Metadata includes being present in file member, number of data blocks and the disc identifier of data server.
