METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SIMN BRIQUETTE AND SIMN BRIQUETTE MANUFACTURED THEREFROM

A SiMn briquette manufacturing method and a SiMn briquette manufactured by the same are provided to prevent the environmental contamination by recycling the dust and by freely controlling the content of Si. A SiMn briquette manufacturing method comprises: a step of preparing FeSi dust, FeMn dust and a binder; a step of mixing the FeSi dust, the FeMn dust and the binder with water; a step of manufacturing the briquette by pressure-molding the mixed mixture; and a step of curing the briquette. The binder is included with 1~10 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of whole FeSi dust and FeMn dust. The binder is an organic binder or an inorganic binder. The pressure in the pressing molding is 100~300 kgf/cm^2. The SiMn briquette manufactured by a SiMn briquette manufacturing method has intensity more than 60kgf/cm^2.
