METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ENABLING A SIDESHOW DEVICE TO RETRIEVE SYSTEM INFORMATION FROM A COMPUTING DEVICE

A method and a system for enabling a sideshow device to search system information from a computing device are provided to transmit specific system information of the computing device to a sub system such as a sideshow device without respect to use possibility of USB(Universal Serial Bus) or Bluetooth connection among a windows vista operating system, a sub system and the computer device. A computing device(202) is configured by an operating system with sufficient functions. The computing device additionally includes a plurality of components which can obtain system information. A sideshow device(204) is comprised of a built-in gadget(208) requesting the system information through the first bidirectional data bus(209) from the computing device regardless of an operation state of the operating system. The components are connected to the first bidirectional data bus.
