A multi-function keyboard, and a computer-controlled apparatus and method for controlling the same are provided to combine multi-functions as one, thereby providing work conveniently. The input of a special key is received from a multi-function keyboard in which a paper transport-type scanner is mounted on the inside(S601). In case the special key is inputted, data scanned by the scanner is received(S602). The received data is converted into image data(S603). In order to provide a service corresponding to the special key by using the transformed image data, a computer control apparatus performs control(S604).
