A method for the timing synchronization of real-time local music replay and remote server words is provided for all participants to access a database having the collected results of music linked to words. A local user transmits a query to a remote database through a proprietary software interface(210). A system searches words and related synchronization information in the remote song database(220). If the words and the related synchronization information are searched, the words and the related synchronization information are transmitted to a user(230,240). A hosting reproduction software and a specialized player plug-in device synchronize the words and displays the words(250).
