SKIN WHITENING COSMETICS COMPOSITION CONTAINING AN EFFECTIVE INGREDIENT EXTRACTED FROM ACANTHOPANAX SESSILIFLORUM SEEMAN AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A skin whitening composition, and a method for preparing an extract of Acanthopanacis Cortex are provided to improving the skin whitening effect by inhibiting the generation of melanin with reducing the skin side effect. A skin whitening composition comprises a fraction of chlorogenic acid extracted from Acanthopanacis Cortex. The extract of Acanthopanacis Cortex is prepared by pulverizing Acanthopanacis Cortex; extracting Acanthopanacis Cortex with 70-85% ethanol aqueous solution at a room or lower temperature; concentrating it at 20-50 deg.C under reduced pressure to obtain a crude extract; eluting the crude extract by ion resin column chromatography with increasing the content of ethanol gradually; and collecting the 10-40% ethanol aqueous solution fraction to control the content of chlorogenic acid.
