A method for preparing monodisperse nanoparticles is provided to prepare monodisperse polymeric nanoparticles which has sphere of 100~300 nm by a non-emulsified polymerization method without an initiator. A method for preparing vinylic polymer particles comprises a step of adding unsaturated carboxylic acid of carbon number 3-6 to polymerize it when performing non-emulsified polymerization of unsaturated vinyl monomer in an aqueous medium containing a cross-linking agent and an initiator. The average particle diameter of the vinylic polymer particles is 100-300 nm. The cross-linking agent is divinylbenzene acrylate-based cross-linking agent. The initiator is one kind or more selected from the group consisting of ammonium persulfate, potassium persulfate, sodium persulfate, ammonium bisulfate, sodium bisulfate, 1,1-azobis(1-methylbutyronitrile-3-sodium sulfate), and 4,4-azobis(4-cyanovaleric acid).
