A metallic nuclear fuel for a fast atomic reactor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve safety of a metallic nuclear fuel by suppressing a mutual reaction between a metallic fuel core and a cladding tube. A metallic nuclear fuel for a fast atomic reactor includes a metallic fuel core(111), a cladding tube(113), and a nitride coating layer(112). The metallic fuel core has a cylindrical shape. The metallic fuel core includes at least one or more elements selected from groups composed of U, Pu, Zr, Am, Np, and Cm. The cladding tube surrounds the metallic fuel core. The cladding tube is made of stainless steel. The nitride coating layer is formed in an inner wall of the cladding tube. A liquid metal(115) is filled between the metallic fuel core and the cladding tube in order to improve thermal conductivity between the metallic fuel core and the cladding tube.
