A measurement method of penetration width in a laser welding part using ultrasonic wave is provided to inspect the quality of the welding part within short time and measure the penetration width of the welding part through a non-destructive method. A measurement method of penetration width in a laser welding part using ultrasonic wave comprises following steps. The ultrasonic wave is sent from an ultrasonic probe to an upper plate and the ultrasonic wave reflected from the bottom surface of the upper plate is received and maximum echo height is measured. The ultrasonic probe horizontally moves through the upper part of a laser welding part and echo height is measured. When the maximum echo height becomes double compared with the echo height, the locations of the two ultrasonic probes are extracted. The distance between two extracted locations is determined as the penetration width of the laser welding part.
