A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating gastritis, stomach ulcer, and duodenal ulcer, which contains juice of Solanum tuberosum L., cv. Bora valley is provided to has suppression effects of generating gastric ulcer and suppress PGE 2. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating gastritis, stomach ulcer or duodenal ulcer comprises juice or starch of Solanum tuberosum L., cv. Bora valley as an active ingredient. The juice is produced by removing bud of Solanum tuberosum L., cv. Bora valley and making juice with a juicer. The starch is obtained by leaving put the juice at room temperature for ten minutes, separating starch layer and remaining liquid, and drying through compression or at 65‹C.
