A signal strength prediction method for WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) base determination including AP, RP and PP is provided to reduce a time and a cost for measuring real radio wave environment by evaluating path loss based on the signal intensity extracted from the positioning object region. Distance between RP(reference point) and AP(Access Point) and a distance between PP(Predict Point) and AP are calculated by using the place value of AP within the indoor space, the place value of RP, and the place value of PP which is the path loss prediction object. The path loss between PP and AP is predicted through equation by using the path loss between RP and AP and calculated distance.
