A file system, a main memory, a flash memory and a data managing method for minimizing the dynamic change of an index structure by the insertion of the record are provided to improve the performance of the memory by minimizing writing computation of the flash memory. A directory management unit(201) manages a directory in a main memory. The location information of an index-page is included directory. The location information of index-page is stored in the flash memory. An index page management unit(202) manages index-page based on directory. An index management unit(204) manages the merge and division between the multiple indexes. The merge between the multiple and the division indexes are generated in the flash memory.
