PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling an air conditioner for a vehicle are provided to make the air in the vehicle inside fresh by controlling the device according to the body temperature of a driver and passengers.;CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling an air conditioner for a vehicle comprises a sensing terminal(100) and a determination processing unit(200). The sensing terminal is wirelessly connected to the vehicle and detects the body temperature of a driver before getting on the vehicle. The determination processing unit determines a driving mode of the air conditioner by comparing the body temperature of the driver detected by the sensing terminal to the setting up body temperature range.
