PURPOSE: A method for displaying a received message and a communication terminal therefor are provided to highlight a corresponding word when a word included in a received message is stored in a dictionary, thereby provoking interest of a message receiver.;CONSTITUTION: A method for displaying a received message comprises the following steps. A word included in the received message is compared with information stored in a dictionary(S210). It is determined whether the word is stored in a dictionary(S220). When the word is stored in the dictionary according to the determination result, the word included in the received message is highlighted(S240).
