PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a polyvinyl alcohol film is provided to improve dyeing efficiency in a dye process by evenly diffusing iodide(I-) inside a polyvinyl alcohol film.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a polyvinyl alcohol film comprises the steps of: preparing a base solution by mixing an iodine compound consisting of iodine or iodine compound to molten polyvinyl alcohol; and forming a polyvinyl alcohol film by casting the base solution and drying it.
