PURPOSE: A pre-processing apparatus in the wideband inverse light-compensation image processing is provided to generate an optimum WDR image by normalizing the brightness of an input image.;CONSTITUTION: A pre-processing method in the wideband inverse light-compensation image processing comprises the following steps of: receiving brightness/color-difference signals having different exposure time; analyzing the correlation between brightness signals having the first and second exposure times; and classifying the brightness signals into a bright area, a transition area, and dark area.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
