ACTIVE DRIVING TYPE VISUAL-TACTILE DISPLAY APPARATUS

An active driving type visual-tactile display device is provided to feel tactile sensation while watching an image with eyes by feeling having a flat panel display device for visually displaying an image and a tactile sensation generating device for generating tactile sensation by using static electricity power. An active driving type visual-tactile display device includes a flat panel display device displaying an image visually and a tactile sensation generating device(200) generating tactile sensation according to the image, wherein the flat panel display device and the tactile sensation generating device are integrated. Each unit cell(UC) of the tactile sensation generating device includes first to third transistors(Tr_1,Tr_2,Tr_3), a capacitor(C_1), and a transparent electrode(E). If a detector(300) approaches the transparent electrode of the tactile sensation generating device, static electricity power is generated between the transparent electrode and the detector. The detector detects the static electricity power to recognize tactile information together with visual information.
