A feed additive for the cultivation of fish or shellfish is provided to improve the immunity of fish or shellfish by feeding the feed additive. A feed additive for the cultivation of fish or shellfish contains arazyme in an active ingredient. Preferably the arazyme is any one selected from the protein comprising the amino acid sequence represented by the sequence number 1, the protein encoded by the DNA comprising the coding region of the base sequence represented by the sequence number 2, the protein comprising the amino acid sequence represented by the sequence number 1 modified by substitution, deletion, insertion and/or addition and having the identical function to the protein comprising the amino acid sequence represented by the sequence number 1, and the protein encoded by the hybrid DNA with DNA comprising the base sequence represented by the sequence number 2 and having the identical function to the protein comprising the amino acid sequence represented by the sequence number 1.
