A construction method of a horizontal tunnel and an end plate for the horizontal tunnel construction comprising an air tube are provided to construct a horizontal tunnel simply in comparison with the use of a steel plate or a wooden board, and to reduce the cost, manpower and time required for the horizontal tunnel construction. A construction method of a horizontal tunnel comprises the steps of forming a tunnel pit mouth(100), waterproofing an internal wall of the tunnel pit mouth with a waterproof material(110), arranging and fixing a reinforcing bar assembly(130) to the lower part of the waterproof material, installing a form(140) at a certain distance from the waterproof material to locate the reinforcing bar assembly inward, installing an end plate composed of an air tube to one side of a space between the waterproof material and the form and injecting air to the air tube, thereby stopping up one side of the space, and filling up the space with concrete through the form.
