A cooler cooling apparatus of an exhaust gas reduction system is provided to prevent the deterioration of the cooler indirectly by decreasing the coolant temperature more with a thermoelectric element. A cooler cooling apparatus of an exhaust gas reduction system includes a thermoelectric element(20) fixed to the circumference of a coolant inlet/outlet pipe(12) equipped in a cooler body(10). The thermoelectric element comprises radiator fins(21) formed on the outside surface, a power cable(24) through which the power is delivered from the battery of the vehicle, a hole(22) in which the pipe is inserted, a key groove(23) formed in the inner side of the hole so that a key(K) formed on the coolant inlet/outlet pipe is inserted, and a joint hole in which a fastener(S) is connected.
