A cosmetic composition, and a method for using the composition are provided to obtain the wrinkle improving effect, the whitening effect and the moisturizing effect. A cosmetic composition comprises an extract of Rhinacanthus nasutu as an active ingredient. Preferably the content of the extract of Rhinacanthus nasutu is 0.0001-30.0 wt% based on the total composition. Preferably the extract of Rhinacanthus nasutu is extracted by solvent extraction, supercritical extraction or ultrasonication extraction.
