A METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AN OPTICAL ETHERNET SIGNAL AND AN OPTICAL ETHERNET SIGNAL TRANSMITTING SYSTEM USING THE METHOD

An optical Ethernet signal transmission method and a system using the same are provided to transmit reliable data at the speed of the maximum 4ms by switching a network through the hardware processing by the self protocol. An optical Ethernet signal transmission system comprises a plurality of remote devices(121,122,123,124,125,126), a central device(110), the first optical core network and the second optical core network. The central device comprises an optical signal converting unit and controller. The optical signal converting unit mutually converts the Ethernet signal and optical Ethernet signal. The controller controls the optical Ethernet signals provided to the remote devices. In case a network has a defect, the controller performs the switching of remote devices by a received NMS(Network Management System) frame.
