PERFORMANCE EVALUATION AND REHABILITATION OF WATER NETWORKS AND ITS METHOD

A system and a method for evaluating performance and making a rehabilitation plan of water network are provided to realize objectiveness for selecting the old water pipe and assigning priority to a rehabilitation project, and make the reasonable long-term rehabilitation plan conveniently and efficiently by evaluating the performance of the water network and selecting the priority of the rehabilitation project. A detecting module(10) detects irrigation or water quality data from the water pipes included in the water network, and transmits the detected data. A database(12) stores an accident, leakage, and civil appeal ratio of each water pipe, an evaluation factor for selecting the priority for the rehabilitation project, and the irrigation or water quality data. A performance evaluating module(14) calculates a performance evaluation level of each water pipe based on the data stored in the database and selects the obsolete water pipe exceeding a predetermined reference performance level. A priority selecting module(16) selects the priority of the rehabilitation project by calculating a cost-effect ratio of the rehabilitation project of the selected water pipe.
