The present invention relates to a method for managing topology information in a wireless mobile network, and more particularly, to a method for reliably managing topology information used for establishing a packet forwarding path in a wireless mobile network such as an Ad-Hoc network. The present invention does not rely only on topology update packets, but by reading the headers of all packets received from neighboring nodes, it is possible to detect route information and update its topology information from the route information. In addition, the present invention provides reliability for each link of the topology information, so that a highly reliable link can be preferentially selected when the packet transmission path is established, thereby increasing the packet transmission success rate.
